Preliminary date for THE Howl-O-Scream tweetup, especially as the weather is getting colder. By THE, I mean the one we've been talking about but not really moving forward too much. We can always have another (before Busch closes). If you'd like to have the date moved to a better time for you, tell us when those better times are.

The general idea would be to get there a bit before 6, and 5:30 sounds OK. I don't think incoming traffic should be too bad, but if you park across the street in their overflow parking (here's the main entrance, and here's the overflow parking entrance) is pretty easy to get into, although I've never actually parked there (there were no ticket people in the gates at the time or anything).

Tickets are not cheap, but if you've got a season pass or you're military, you should be fine. Liudwih says military get 4 free tickets per year. As a season pass member, I can buy tickets for friends at a $12 discount of the $56 price. I can only do this if I purchase the tickets beforehand! You must let me know you're going and I will buy your tickets before you as close to the day as possible in case you change your mind. E-mail me if you want to take advantage of this.

THIS DATE CAN CHANGE, It's not set in stone. It's just a good weekend because I can actually go. Technically I can go tomorrow too, and I almost set this event for tomorrow, but I felt that's probably not very advance notice. If the interested parties (@liudwih, @cyndyoxox, @karenMhurd, and I think @chelbycat was interested at the southside tweetup) want to agree on a different date, please do so in the forum thread.

If we have to move this to October, that's fine. Contact me!
