Hi Ron! Welcome Aboard!

Everything we have in the great country, material wealth, resources in abundance, and especially the precious freedoms we enjoy, come from God, and yet our leaders today flagrantly deny our Christian heritage and the debt of gratitude we owe. Might we find a moment to give thanks to God as well as asking his continued favor at our meetings? Asking guidance will certainly render us a most effective agent for recapturing our nation's true values.

Couldn't agree with you more regarding our churches. After all, as we discussed last night, the early American pulpit was instrumental in reforming the colonists, spurring on the Revolution, and teaching congregants about Biblically based policy and government. Sad that the church doesn't think they have any place in influencing policy. Didn't Christ teach us that our faith should impact every part of life?
